Castleberry Gas Treating and Processing Plant

Low pressure (25 PSIG) casinghead gas from approximately eighty (80) oil wells is delivered to this facility where the gas is compressed to 800 PSIG, sweetened, and then processed for removal and recovery of liquefiable hydrocarbons.  Major Process Systems are as follows:

  • 3000 HP Inlet Gas Compression
  • Condensate Stabilization
  • Amine Treating for H2S removal
  • SulfaTreat System for removal of residual H2S
  • Two (2) Mechanical Refrigeration Trains
  • Power Generation

Designed, built, owned and operated by GPI, our Castleberry Gas Plant was commissioned in 2005 and has sustained an average of in excess of 98% runtime.  This facility produces three (3) product streams:

  • Condensate, sweetened, less than 10 RVP
  • NGL Product, truckable C2+ raw mix
  • Residue Gas, pipeline quality
